Day 01 Entry Beijing

Our guide will hold a welcome sign to meet you outside the customs of Beijing Airport according to your international (internal) flight schedule. Transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 3 nights stay and please relax for the rest of the day.

Tips: If you have the habit of reading newspaper at home, you do not need to worry about it here in Beijing. "China Daily" is the most famous English newspaper in China and you can get it at almost every book stall. "Time Out Beijing", "City Weekend" and "That's Beijing" are nice English magazines that you may choose if you would like to know the local news.

Day 02 Beijing

Stroll along the famous Tiananmen Square - the largest square in the world, and reach the Forbidden City. Then an a la carte lunch is served at a very nice restaurant to taste the authentic Chinese food. This afternoon, transfer to visit the Temple of Heaven. In the evening, you will enjoy a lively Chinese Kung Fu Show at Red Theatre.

Day 03 Beijing

Morning excursion transfers you to climb the China Great Wall - Badaling section. A spicy Sichuan cuisine lunch is served at a notable restaurant to recruit your physical energy. This afternoon, stroll across the Sacred Path and reach the Ming Tomb. On the way back to downtown, drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium). You will see its appearance at a distance.

Tips: If you are an antiquarian, Panjiayuan Folk Culture Market, also called Dirt Market is worth a visit in your free time. Located to the south of the Eastern Third Ring Road, it covers an area of 48,500 square meters. It is ranked as the largest secondhand goods market in China. The goods on offer range from archaized furniture, ancient calligraphy scrolls to porcelain, shadow figures, engravings and jade. People of different ethnic groups set up their business here. The best time to visit the market is from 06:00 to 16:00. In the early morning, the shopkeepers are in hope of a good fortune for the day, so they usually make the first deal at a lower price. In the afternoon, they are anxious to sell more goods before closing the stalls, so you can easily pick up a bargain. For collectors, it is a good way to seek pleasure whilst wandering around the market, even if one buys nothing.

Day 04 Beijing - Xian

Bid farewell to the city after having a stay at the Summer Palace and have a Hutong tour. An a la carte lunch will be served to you at a decent restaurant. Fly to Xian to appreciate China’s long history. TCG guide will wait for you outside the baggage claim area at the airport ahead of the flight schedule and transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 3 nights stay.

Day 05 Xian

Highlight morning excursion transfers you to visit the amazing Terracotta Soldiers Museum. Your a la carte lunch is served at the best local restaurant. This afternoon, visit the Provincial History Museum and the landmark of this city - Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening you will be entertained with Dumpling Dinner and Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Performance.

Day 06 Xian

After visiting the City Wall in the morning, you will have a local family visit and a la carte lunch will be arranged in the home of the family that you visit, to taste the authentic home cooked Chinese dishes. In the afternoon, continue to visit the Great Mosque.

Tips: After having the dinner on your own, you may consider to spend some time outdoor in the evening. Visiting the North Square near the Big Wild Goose Pagoda should be a good option. It takes less twenty minutes' drive from the hotel to the square by taxi. The taxi fee is no more than twenty Yuan. It is the largest fountain and waterscape square in Asia. The sculptures are also of the largest scale throughout Asia. Every night there will be a grand fountain show. The water spurts in different shapes and styles as the music goes softly or abruptly. If you are tired, you can have a rest on the bench around.

Day 07 Xian - Shanghai

Take a morning flight to the prosperous Shanghai to feel the fashion atmosphere. TCG guide will wait for you outside the baggage claim area at the airport ahead of the flight schedule and transfer you to the 4-star hotel for 2 nights stay. The afternoon is free for you to explore Shanghai. You are suggested to take a taxi to visit the Xin Tian Di area on your own.

Day 08 Shanghai

A morning excursion covers the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. At noon, an a la carte farewell lunch will be served at a fancy and famous local restaurant, which offers authentic Shanghai and Cantonese cuisine. After lunch, visit the Nanjing Road, the famous Bund area and an ancient cultural street.

Tips: Some of you may have had enough of Chinese food and then would enjoying having some western food as a break. You may feel excited when you land in Shanghai since western food is very popular and easy to be found here, especially in the Bund area and the famous Nanjing Road, from the fast food KFC, Macdonald's, Pizza Hut to some of the finest western-style cafes and restaurants. You will surely feel dazzled while wandering in the street and experiencing that Shanghai is really a paradise not only for shopping, but a delicious food city.
