Day by Day Itinerary
Day 01 Arrival in Beijing
No meals
Crowne Plaza

Our guide will meet you outside the customs of Beijing Airport after you retrieve your luggage and clear the customs, and then transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Tips: If you are so excited to start seeing Beijing as soon as possible, Beihai is recommended as a place to look around on your own. Located in the center of Beijing City, Beihai Park is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved imperial gardens. In this park, you can be absorbed by not only picturesque scenery and long history, but also solemn religious constructions. The admission fee is CNY10 Yuan in high season and CNY5 Yuan in low season. It is generally open 06:30-20:00 in winter, 06:00-22:00 in summer. Beihai Park sits northwest of your hotel, about 2.5 kilometers away. Take a taxi and you will get there within 5 minutes at a cost of CNY10-15 Yuan. It is wise to have a piece of paper with your destination in Chinese on it since the taxi drivers usually cannot understand English very well.
